Obverse description Incuse rectangular countermark applied to the host coin's obverse, bearing the conjoined letters LL in bold relief within the recessed punch. The countermark is struck deeply into the field of the underlying billon flan, with the host coin's original legends partially visible around the periphery. The bold incuse impression dominates the centre of the coin, with residual details of the Cayenne 2 Sous host type discernible beneath the overstrike.
