Reverse description Reverse bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription distributed across the field in horizontal registers, naming the ruler Bahadur Shah and his lineage from Muzaffar Shah. The legend is set within a plain linear border, with the text divided by a central horizontal rule in a format typical of Gujarat Sultanate copper coinage. The strike is bold in the centre but weakens toward the irregular edge, a hallmark of hammered medieval Indian issues. Surface patination is consistent with the obverse.
