Obverse description Hammered copper flan bearing a bold Arabic inscription in Naskh script arranged vertically across the field, naming the sultan Qutb-ud-Din Bahadur Shah. The legends are deeply struck but show characteristic irregular outlines typical of medieval Indian hammered coinage. The script fills the available field with little remaining blank area, and the coin's irregular flan edge is visible around the legend.
