Reverse description
French and Japanese monuments are represented: on the left, the Arc de Triomphe, above the Eiffel Tower, in the center the Pont-Neuf, the Monnaie de Paris on its left; above the Arc de Triomphe, the Sensoji temple, on the right the Edo castle, imperial palace. The three horizontal lines, drawn on the right under the largest arch of the Pont-Neuf, represent the moat of the Edo castle and connect the two capitals by water. The bottom of the piece is strewn with Japanese cherry blossoms.
