Obverse description Three crowned heraldic shields arranged in a triangular composition: the central and uppermost shield, bearing the arms of Augsburg surmounted by a mural crown, flanked by two smaller crowned shields on scrolling cartouches — the left displaying a rampant lion and the right bearing a quartered design. The surrounding legend reads CLARITAS REIP . AUGUSTAE, and the date 1752 with a mintmaster's mark appears in the exergue below the arms. The field is plain, and the coin's border is decorated with a fine beaded rim.

Reverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Augustus facing left, rendered in high relief in the antique Roman style, with ribbons tied at the back of the head.
