| Obverse description | The Polish state eagle — the crowned white eagle of the Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa — occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with spread wings, talons displayed, and head turned to the right. The circular legend reads '• POLSKA • RZECZPOSPOLITA • LUDOWA •' along the upper periphery. The date '19 84' is split to either side of the eagle's body at mid-field, flanked by the mint mark 'mw'. The denomination '1000' is boldly inscribed along the lower field, framed by the abbreviations 'ZŁ' to its left and right. |
