| Obverse description | This commemorative polymer note is an overprint on the standard B210 type, issued to mark the 40th anniversary of Vanuatu's independence. The prefix numeral '40' in the serial number departs from the conventional practice of encoding the printing year, instead referencing the anniversary occasion. The overall design retains the vignettes and guilloche underprint of the base note, with the commemorative overprint applied in addition to standard obverse elements. |
