Additional information

Mongolia has issued commemorative gold miniatures under its 1000 Tögrög program since the early 2000s, producing small-format pieces honoring historical figures entirely unconnected to Central Asian history. Bonaparte's Italian campaigns of 1796–97 effectively dismantled the old European dynastic order, yet this coin was struck in Ulaanbaatar — about as far geographically from Austerlitz as it is possible to get.
