| Obverse description | The Mongolian state emblem, depicting the soyombo symbol surmounting a circular medallion with the traditional ornamental border enclosing a scene of the lotus throne, dharmachakra, and sacred objects, occupies the central field. The legend MONGOLIA arcs along the upper rim in Latin script, while the Mongolian script inscription runs vertically along the right field. The denomination 1000, followed by the Mongolian script word for Tögrög, appears prominently in the lower field. A finely milled border frames the entire design. |
