| Obverse description | Central design features the Mongolian state emblem — a stylised arch or gateway motif surmounted by the soyombo symbol — rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The issuer name МОНГОЛ БАНК appears in Cyrillic script in a cursive band beneath the emblem, flanked by vertical Traditional Mongolian script legends reading Монгол Улс to the left and Мөнгөн зоос to the right. The denomination 1000 TOGROG is boldly struck in the lower central field, with the date 2003 placed along the bottom rim.
