| Obverse description | The obverse is laid over a dense guilloche underprint with a continuous meander-key border along all four margins, from which circular cartouches at each corner carry Arabic calligraphic inscriptions. A crescent motif appears at the top centre above the principal text panel rendered in Persian-Arabic script, while the lower centre bears a date cartouche with the Islamic calendar year set within an oval frame against a fine cross-hatched guilloche ground. The overall composition is characteristic of early Soviet Central Asian emergency issues, combining Eastern calligraphic tradition with Western banknote printing conventions. |
