Portrait of Rumiñahui (late 15th century-1535), was a general during the civil war, who after the death of Emperor Atahualpa, led the resistance against the Spanish in the northern part of the Inca Empire (modern-day Ecuador) in 1533. Issuer name on top, face value in numbers on all four corners and at center, in letters at center over numbers; place and issuing date below face value at center, black series letters to right of date, and to left, below watermark area; watermark area on left. Black serial #s to right of center above face value, and to left, same height; inner security strip with lettering.
