| Obverse description | The state emblem of Uzbekistan — a Humo bird set against a rising sun, encircled by wheat sheaves and cotton bolls — is rendered in intaglio at the left-centre, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint incorporating traditional Uzbek geometric ornaments in light blue and pink tones. A vertical border of intricately engraved Islamic arabesque scrollwork runs along the right margin, with the large denomination numeral '1000' printed in pink and dark brown to the right of the emblem, surmounted by the Cyrillic legend 'БИР МИНГ' and the currency inscription 'СЎМ'. The year '2001' and a stylised geometric rosette appear in the upper-right corner, with the serial number printed twice in the lower portion of the note. |

| Reverse description | A detailed intaglio vignette of the Amir Timur Museum in Tashkent occupies the central field, rendered in brown with its characteristic cylindrical rotunda, colonnaded gallery, and domed roof picked out in teal; flanking trees and ornamental lamp posts complete the architectural composition. The denomination '1000 СЎМ' is printed in large teal and gold numerals at the upper centre, above the museum vignette, while floral and geometric Uzbek ornamental motifs in teal fill the upper-right corner. Denomination numerals '1000' appear at lower left within a stylised traditional cartouche and at lower right, with the museum caption 'АМИР ТЕМУР МУЗЕЙИ' inscribed below the vignette. |
