Additional information

Uganda's football-themed bullion issues of the early 2000s were part of a broader wave of sub-Saharan commemorative programs marketed almost entirely to European and Asian collector markets — Uganda itself had no meaningful domestic coin-collecting infrastructure at the time. The series was produced under contract rather than at a Ugandan facility.

KM#84 is one of several pieces in the run distinguished by position-specific designs, making the set completion-driven by design.
