| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Uganda occupies the central field, featuring a shield supported by two figures: a Uganda kob (Kobus kob thomasi) to the left and a grey crowned crane (Balearica regulorum) to the right, with a representation of the River Nile and the sun at the centre of the shield.
