| Reverse description | Central field bears a large, boldly rendered Ik Onkar symbol (ੴ), the sacred emblem of Sikhism, occupying the majority of the field. A curved Devanagari legend arcs across the upper portion of the field, referencing the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. The denomination रु १००० appears at the lower centre, with the commemorative dates A.D. 1469–2019 inscribed along the lower rim. Additional Devanagari inscriptions flank the sides, and the whole design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
