| Obverse description | Central field features a stylized, geometric royal cypher composed of interlocking panels arranged in a cross-like pattern, each containing a segment of the king's name in Devanagari script: श्री ५ वीरेन्द्र वीर विक्रम शाह देव, with the Nepalese royal trident emblem at the centre. Auspicious honorific legends श्री श्री appear at the top of the central device, flanked by decorative elements. The Bikram Sambat date २०५७ (VS 2057) is inscribed at the lower portion of the central panel. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's rim. |
