Obverse description Central field bears the denomination '1000 Rials' in Persian numerals, flanked by stylized wheat spikes rising on either side. The circular legend around the periphery reads 'Islamic Republic of Iran' in Arabic script at the top, with the Persian calendar date 1390 at the bottom.
