Obverse description The national arms of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic occupy the central field, depicting two crossed flags bearing a crescent and star emblem, surmounted by a crescent and five-pointed star above a scroll inscribed in Arabic. The arms are flanked on either side by olive branches. The legend 'REPUBLICA SAHARAUI' arcs along the left periphery in Latin script, while Arabic inscriptions arc along the right and lower periphery. The denomination '1000' appears at the lower left in the legend.
