| Obverse description | The crowned arms of Macau occupy the central field, depicting the Portuguese shield supported on either side by a kneeling winged female angel. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the territorial motto in Latin. Twelve stars are distributed around the inner field. The legend MACAU arcs across the upper portion of the coin, and the date 1982 appears in large numerals along the lower field. A small mintmark FM appears in the exergue. |
