| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Mozambique occupies the central field, depicting a shield charged with a book, a hoe, and a Kalashnikov rifle over a rising sun, flanked by a cogwheel, all enclosed within a wreath of maize and sugarcane stalks bound at the base by a ribbon bearing the legend REPÚBLICA DE MOÇAMBIQUE.
