| Obverse description | Blue-toned note with a central allegorical vignette of thirteen figures set against a pastoral Finnish landscape of trees and lakes. The denomination "1000" appears in large numerals at centre-left, with Finland's Coat of Arms at lower right; bilingual text in Finnish runs along the left margin and Swedish along the right. | Reverse description | Executed in grey-black intaglio, the reverse centres on Finland's Coat of Arms — a crowned lion passant on a field strewn with roses — set within an elaborate guilloche underprint flanked by two large stylised conifer trees that frame the design symmetrically. The denomination numeral "1000" is repeated in large letterpress figures at lower left and lower right, with the year "1922" printed in small characters at the bottom centre between fine horizontal ruling bands. Corner cartouches at all four angles carry the value numeral "1000" within ornamental frames. |
