Obverse descriptionBlue with a touch of red.  Portrait of Anders Chydenius (1729–1803), an early Finnish politician and writer. He was a liberal advocate of democratic ideals who inspired future politicians, and became a national hero to many Finns after independence. Sailing ship in centre background.  Security thread through centre right of paper. Security hologram on top right. One raised circle in centre. Two signatures in bottom centre, series year, 1986, on top left.  Text in Finnish on top and centre, Swedish sideways on the right.  `Litt. A` printed above denomination at lower left.
