| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark brown and pink tones on a fine guilloche underprint, with the large numeral "1000" in the lower left and the title "Reichsbanknote" across the upper portion above the bold gothic script denomination "Tausend Mark." The main text body sets out the payment obligation and recall provisions, flanked on each side by an intaglio-printed Reichsbank eagle roundel, with a block of anti-counterfeiting warning text in the lower left margin. Multiple manuscript signatures of the Reichsbankdirektorium appear centrally above the right-hand eagle seal. |
