An olive or laurel branch device flanks the lower portion of the portrait on each side. The circumferential legend, reading in Latin script, is divided between the upper and lower periphery, separated by the portrait, and identifies the subject as the first and lifelong President of Turkmenistan.

Reverse description Central high-relief sculptural composition depicting a seated mother wearing a traditional Turkmen headscarf, cradling a young child in her arms, rendered in a monumental, idealized style against a mirror-polished field. The upper legend along the periphery names the issuing authority in Latin script, while the lower legend, separated by two raised dots serving as punctuation, presents the coin's thematic motto. The overall design is framed by a plain inner border and the raised rim of the coin.
