| Obverse description | The Bulgarian state coat of arms — a crowned shield supported by two rampant lions above a spread eagle — is set within an ornate gilded cartouche at left, with the denomination numeral «1000» in the upper-left corner and at lower left within a panel inscribed «ЛЕВА». The central field carries the issuer's name and the bond pledge text in large Cyrillic letterpress across a fine guilloche underprint, with the denomination «ХИЛЯДА ЛЕВА ЗЛАТНИ» in bold blackletter script below. Two handwritten signatures of the Governor (Управитель) and Cashier (Касиерь) appear at centre-right, accompanied by the bank's circular red seal. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in olive-green and yellow-gold tones and composed entirely of intricate geometric and foliate guilloche work without any pictorial vignette. A large central lozenge-shaped panel encloses the numeral «1000» in pink, flanked by symmetrical acanthus-scroll ornaments and two hexagonal cartouches each inscribed «ЛЕВА». The denomination «1000» also appears in circular rosettes at each of the four corners, all framed within a continuous decorative border of wave and Celtic-knot motifs. |
