Reverse description The reverse is printed in olive-green and yellow-gold tones and composed entirely of intricate geometric and foliate guilloche work without any pictorial vignette. A large central lozenge-shaped panel encloses the numeral «1000» in pink, flanked by symmetrical acanthus-scroll ornaments and two hexagonal cartouches each inscribed «ЛЕВА». The denomination «1000» also appears in circular rosettes at each of the four corners, all framed within a continuous decorative border of wave and Celtic-knot motifs.
Reverse lettering 1000 Лева
(Translation: 1000 Leva)
