Reverse description The reverse faithfully reproduces, in finely milled high relief, the design of the reverse side of the Slovak 1000-korún banknote. The central composition depicts the crowned effigy of the Virgin Mary — the Our Lady of Liptovské Sliače — robed and enthroned, flanked by two angels above her head and surrounded by a multitude of small devotional figures at her feet. To the left stands the Baroque church of Liptovské Sliače in detailed architectural relief. The Slovak coat of arms — a double-armed cross on a triple-peaked mountain — appears on a shield in the lower central field, accompanied by the inscription 'V BRATISLAVE 2003' in cursive. The numeral '1000' is rendered twice, prominently in the right and lower left fields, alongside the legend 'NÁRODNÁ BANKA SLOVENSKÁ' along the right border, a Braille strip, and the engraver's initials 'ŠN' in cursive.
