| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a montage of sculptural highlights from Xieng Khuan (Buddha Park), located near Vientiane, Laos. A large stylized multi-faced deity head dominates the central field, surmounted by a tall ornate tower figure. Flanking the central composition are smaller statues of reclining, seated, and standing figures characteristic of the park's eclectic Hindu-Buddhist iconography. The legend 'XIENG KHUAN BUDDHA PARK' arcs along the upper border in Latin script, and the date '2010' is inscribed in the lower exergue. The design is struck in sharp proof relief within a beaded border. |
