Obverse description Two allegorical female figures in classical drapery flank the central text field: the left figure holds a rudder and wears a floral wreath, while the right bears an olive branch and scales of justice. A frieze of eleven cherubic heads runs along the upper border as a decorative vignette, and the denomination numerals are enclosed within ornate letterpress cartouches. The imperial coat of arms of the Austrian Empire appears below the central inscription, flanked by oval medallions with the head of Austria, over a fine intaglio panoramic view of Vienna.
