| Obverse description | The obverse features a highly detailed gilt rendition of the façade of the New York Stock Exchange building, with its prominent Corinthian colonnade and the monumental pediment sculpture in high relief. At the centre of the pediment, a standing allegorical figure is flanked by groups of classical figures in dynamic poses, faithfully reproducing the sculptural programme of the NYSE's neoclassical architecture. The legend NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE is inscribed along the upper portion of the field. Below the architectural composition, the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA appears, with the issuer legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN 2019 Ag999 and the MW mintmark of the Mint of Poland inscribed in the lower exergue. |
