Cameroon's commemorative silver program accelerated sharply in the 2010s, driven almost entirely by European bullion dealers — primarily Scottsdale Mint and various numismatic wholesalers — who license the issuing authority rather than produce coins for any domestic monetary purpose. The pieces never circulate in Cameroon and are rarely if ever seen there.
