| Obverse description | Central field depicts a classical Greek temple set atop a rocky mountainscape, rendered in high relief with dramatic radiating sunburst behind the structure, all enclosed within a finely detailed laurel wreath tied at the base. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper periphery, while 1000 FRANCS CFA and 1 OZ appear along the lower border, each separated by ornamental stops. The date 2023 is positioned in the upper field above the wreath, and the purity mark Ag 999 appears on a small tablet at the base of the central design.
