| Obverse description | The obverse displays a finely detailed antique-finish relief depicting an ancient Egyptian pharaoh in profile facing right, rendered in the traditional flat bas-relief style of Egyptian art. The pharaoh, wearing the distinctive blue Khepresh war crown, holds an ankh symbol aloft toward a radiant sun disc from which stylized rays descend. Behind the figure, rows of hieroglyphic inscriptions fill the upper field in the manner of a temple wall relief. The denomination '1000' and 'FRANCS CFA' appear integrated into the left field, with the date '2020' in the lower right, and the legend 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' inscribed vertically along the right rim. The fineness mark 'Ag 999' and the mint mark 'MW' appear in small characters within the field. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a richly colored ankh symbol at center, rendered in vivid enamel with a gold-toned border and a deep blue vertical shaft. At the loop of the ankh sits a polychrome scarab beetle in blue and gold, while the crossbar features the Eye of Horus with outspread wings in blue, gold, and red enamel. The lower portion of the ankh shaft bears additional decorative enamel motifs in red and blue. Flanking the central ankh in high-relief antique-finish silver are two facing Egyptian deities in traditional profile: a goddess wearing a vulture headdress to the left, and a pharaoh in the double crown to the right, both rendered in the flat bas-relief style characteristic of ancient Egyptian temple art. The polished mirror field provides a sharp contrast to the frosted relief figures. |
