| Obverse description | Central field features a horseshoe rendered in high relief, oriented with the open end facing downward in the manner of a good-luck symbol, within which the large Cyrillic letters 'ДА' (meaning 'Yes') are prominently displayed. The arms of Gabon appear above the horseshoe at the top of the inner disc. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE GABONAISE' arcs along the left, while '1000 FRANCS CFA' and the fineness notation 'Ag 925 15.55' arc along the right. The entire silver medallion is set within a decorative enamelled surround of alternating green and cream segments, evoking the appearance of a casino chip. |
