Gabon's "Decision Coin" series was conceived as a novelty monetized object — a spinning coin engineered so that the edge landing determines a binary outcome. The mechanical gimmick required tighter tolerancing than standard coinage, which is why the series was farmed out to a European private mint rather than struck at any African facility. Collectible on novelty grounds rather than numismatic ones.
