| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of the Congo occupies the central field, depicting a shield supported by two elephants in profile, with a lion passant in the upper portion of the shield and a green wavy band below. Above the shield appears a crown-like crest, while a banner at the base bears the national motto.
