| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Gabon occupies the central field, featuring a shield supported by two black panthers rampant, surmounted by a stylized okoumé tree with foliage. The shield bears a sailing vessel on the lower half and three circular devices on the upper half, with the motto ribbon inscribed UNION TRAVAIL JUSTICE at the base of the arms.
