| Obverse description | The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Chad in high relief at center, featuring a chevronny shield supported by a rampant goat to the left and a rampant lion to the right, with a wreath and decorative Order medallion at the base. Three scrolled ribbons beneath the supporters bear the national motto in Latin letters: UNITE, TRAVAIL, and PROGRES. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD arcs along the upper border, flanked by a mint privy mark at the apex of the field.
