Obverse description	The arms of the Gabonese Republic occupy the central field, depicting a shield supported by two leopards rampant, the shield bearing three roundels above a sailing ship on waves; above the shield, an okoumé tree flanked by a scroll inscribed UNION and PROGRES DIS OI; below, a ribbon bearing the national motto UNION TRAVAIL JUSTICE. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE GABONAISE arcs along the upper periphery.
