| Obverse description | At centre, the Cameroonian coat of arms depicts a shield bearing a five-pointed star above a scales of justice, flanked by two diagonal fasces, with a scroll ribbon below inscribed REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN. The date 2025 is divided to either side of the arms, with the bilingual motto PAIX / PEACE to the left, TRAVAIL / WORK above, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND to the right. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN curves along the upper arc of the inner circle, with the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA along the lower arc. The central device is enclosed within a broad outer border decorated in low relief with an array of travel-themed iconography, and the issuer credit CTB GLOBAL together with the web address www.ctb.global appears at the base of the border. |
