The Bank of Central African States issues collector silver under its mandate covering six member nations — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — though virtually none of these pieces enter circulation in the region. The BEAC's numismatic program exists almost entirely for export to European and North American collector markets, funded through licensing arrangements with foreign minting agencies.
