| Obverse description | The central field displays the Cameroonian coat of arms — a shield bearing scales of justice flanked by two crossed fasces — set against a darkened background within a beaded inner border. The date 2025 is divided across the lower central field, flanking the arms. The national motto appears in bilingual form radiating from the shield: PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper border, and the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is prominently inscribed along the lower border. The outer annular field is filled with an elaborate array of Day of the Dead-themed skeletal motifs including a grim reaper, skulls, a coffin, an hourglass, an owl, and various macabre figures rendered in fine relief. |
