| Obverse description | At centre, the Cameroonian coat of arms — featuring a shield with scales of justice, a star above, and two crossed fasces — divides the date 20-25 to left and right. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper portion of the inner field, while the denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed below the shield. The bilingual national motto PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND flanks the shield in the upper field.
