| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Gabon occupies the central field, depicting a shield supported by two black panthers, with a sailing ship in the lower portion of the shield and three golden discs above, surmounted by an olive branch. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE GABONAISE arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2025 appears immediately below it above the arms. The denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed along the lower periphery. A scroll at the base of the arms bears the national motto UNION TRAVAIL JUSTICE. |
