| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Gabonese Republic dominates the center of the obverse, featuring a shield supported by two leopards rampant on either side, with a ship in the middle section of the escutcheon. The legend RÉPUBLIQUE GABONAISE arcs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The denomination 1000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed along the lower portion of the field, flanked by the date 2014, the fineness mark Ag 925, and the weight indication 15.55. |
