Obverse description Central field features a large stylized lion's paw print rendered in deep black relief, with four prominent toe pads and a single central pad occupying the majority of the design area. The denomination '1000 FRANCS CFA', the issuing authority 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN', and the date '2024' are inscribed in the lower portion of the field within the contour of the paw pad. The fineness mark 'Ag 999' and the Mint of Poland mintmark appear to the right, adjacent to the inner border. The entire design is encircled by a twisted rope border rendered in selective gold gilding, set within a raised outer rim.

Reverse description Central motif presents a highly detailed, antique-finished lion's head in dramatic high relief, facing three-quarters to the left, with an elaborately rendered flowing mane filling the field. The naturalistic sculpting emphasizes muscular facial structure and layered mane detail with selective oxidation accentuating depth and texture. Three inset crystal gemstones are positioned symmetrically within the gilded twisted rope border — one at the apex and one at each lateral position. The gilded legend 'BE BRAVE' is inscribed in bold serif capitals along the lower arc of the inner border, also rendered in selective gold gilding.
