The Banque Centrale du Congo name dates from 1997, when Laurent-Désiré Kabila renamed the country from Zaire and simultaneously overhauled the monetary institutions that had operated under Mobutu. Jean-Claude Masangu Mulongo served as governor from 1997 to 2013, making his signature the anchor of the earlier dates in this long print run; Deogratias Mutombo succeeded him and carried the series through its later issues.
The "Printed: 30.04.1945" field in the source data is almost certainly a cataloging artifact — the Banque Centrale du Congo did not exist until 1997. P#101 circulated during a period when the franc congolais itself was only introduced in 1998, replacing the new zaïre at a rate of 100,000 to one.
