| Reverse description | Facing bust portrait of Zrínyi Miklós (Nikola Šubić Zrinski), the celebrated Croatian-Hungarian military commander and poet, rendered in bold relief. He is depicted wearing a traditional Hungarian fur-trimmed cap adorned with a feathered plume, and his bearded visage is presented in a three-quarter frontal view. The legend ZRINYI MIKLÓS arcs across the upper field, flanked by the birth and death years 1508 and 1566 positioned on either side of the portrait. The denomination 1000 appears in large numerals along the lower field, with the mint mark BP. inscribed below in small letters. |
