| Reverse description | The reverse features a bold right-facing laureate and long-haired bust of Louis XIV after the original design by Jean Warin, rendered in high relief with fine detail to the flowing curls and lace cravat. Behind the effigy, a decorative background displays intertwined royal monograms, fleurs-de-lis, crowns, and crossed sceptres, evoking the ornamental language of 17th-century French royal coinage.
