| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic occupies the central field, depicting a spread eagle with a shield on its breast, set against a sunburst background, all within a circular border. Two olive branches flank the date 2004 at the top of the coin. The denomination 1000 appears below the arms in the lower field. An Armenian legend arcs along the lower rim, reading ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ԴՐԱՄ (Dram of Armenia), while the fineness mark .999 appears to the right of the arms. |
