Obverse description	The coat of arms of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) depicted at centre, featuring an eagle with spread wings perched upon a horizontal bar, a crowned shield on its breast bearing a tower motif, and a radiating sunburst in the background, all within a circular wreath of olive and palm branches. The Armenian legend ԼԵՌՆԱՅԻՆ ՂԱՐԱԲԱՂԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ ԱՐՑԱԽ arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination 1000 and the legend ՀԱՋԱՐ ԱՐՑԱԽՅԱՆ ԴՐԱՄ appear in the lower field. Reverse description	A finely detailed Armenian khachkar (stone cross) occupies the centre of the field, rendered with intricate interlaced foliate and geometric ornamentation characteristic of medieval Armenian ecclesiastical stone-carving tradition. The Armenian legend ՔՐԻՍՏՈՆՅԱ ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ-1700 arcs around the upper periphery, flanked by decorative dot borders. The Latin inscription KHATCHKAR appears to the upper right of the cross, with the numeral 301 to the lower left, the word Armenia to the right, and the year 2001 in the lower right field, commemorating 1700 years of Christianity in Armenia (301 AD).
